Nu Age Digital, trading as Nuage, on the Gold Coast. This explains what we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do about it. If anything here is unclear, email info@nuagedigital.co and a person will answer.

What you give us

When you send an enquiry we collect your name, phone number, job title, company name, email address, your industry, your monthly marketing budget, what you want help with, and whatever you write in the notes. Everything except the notes is required, because a first call arranged without them is a call spent asking the same questions. The notes are optional.

When you book a call through the calendar on this site, that booking is handled by our CRM and we receive the details you enter into it.

What we collect automatically

When you arrive we record where you came from: the referring page, the page you landed on, the time, and any campaign tags in the link, which are the utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content and utm_term values along with Google and Meta click identifiers. This is kept in your own browser and sent to us only if you go on to enquire. It exists so we know which advertising is working, not so we know who you are.

This site runs Google Analytics 4 and the Meta pixel. Analytics sets first party cookies beginning _ga, which count visits and tell one visit apart from another. The Meta pixel records page views, sets two first party cookies named _fbp and _fbc, and reports an enquiry back to Meta as a conversion. That report is also sent from our server so it is not lost when a browser blocks the pixel. It carries a single shared identifier for the event so the same enquiry is never counted twice.

We also score each enquiry automatically, out of 100, from the answers given: whether there is a phone number, which industry, which budget band, and the kind of email address. The score decides who we call first. It is not a credit check, it is not shared with anyone, and it has no effect on anything except the order of our own callbacks.

We do not sell any of this, and we do not use it to build a profile of you beyond working out which ad brought you here.

Where it goes

Enquiries and bookings go into Nuage's own customer relationship system, which is GoHighLevel. Analytics data goes to Google, and conversion data to Meta. The site itself is hosted by Vercel, and our email is handled by Google and Mailgun. Those companies handle that data under their own terms, and all of them store and process information outside Australia.

We do not pass your details to any other party for their own marketing.

Marketing

We will always reply to an enquiry, because you asked us to. That is not marketing and it happens whether or not you tick anything.

News and updates are a separate thing and only go to people who ticked the box asking for them. Every one of those has an unsubscribe link, it works immediately, and you never have to give a reason.

How long we keep it

Enquiries stay in the CRM while there is a live conversation and for a reasonable period after, so that we can pick up where we left off if you come back. Ask us to delete yours and we will.

Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it. Email info@nuagedigital.co and we will action it. There is no charge and you do not need a reason.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, tell us first and we will try to fix it. If that does not resolve it, you can take it to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Cookies

You can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time. The site works without them. Blocking them means our advertising reporting is less accurate, which is our problem rather than yours.

The notice you saw on your first visit remembers that you dismissed it, using your browser's own storage. That is kept on your device, it is never sent to us, and clearing your browser data removes it.

Australian law asks us to tell you what we collect and why, which is what this page is for. It does not require us to block cookies until you agree, and we do not, so dismissing that notice does not switch anything on or off.
